There are adoption resources for a birth mother placing her baby in New York

New York law allows Heart to Heart Adoptions to support birth mothers in New York, but only within specified policies. We are committed to providing everything birth mothers need for a non-stressful pregnancy, all while we are adhering to all state regulations and laws.

In simple terms--

While we cannot offer financial inducements to encourage a mother to place her child for adoption, we are allowed to aid with vital expenses associated with her pregnancy.

Which birth mothers in New York Can Receive Support?

Support is provided directly to the birth mother. Usually, at Heart to Heart Adoptions, we provide a card loaded with money. If a birth mother has other children, this can influence the amount of support she will receive. Also, if you are sharing living expenses with a partner of legal age, that partner would be expected to contribute to his or her own expenses.

How Long Does Financial Support Last for Birth Mothers in New York

Financial aid often lasts until after the baby is born and includes time for recovery. Support can start around the middle of your pregnancy. In some situations, support may begin even earlier if the mother cannot work because of pregnancy complications.
